Right now I am working in aerospace industry as graduate engineer. My company going through redundancy phase and I might be one among those to get redundant. I got job offer from same company but different department. Right now I am In different soc code for engineering department. Job offer is from operation with different soc code.
My question is
1. Do I need to carry out RLMT to transfer from graduate engineer to Test Equipment Engineer
2. Is test equipment engineer fall under shortage occupation list

Hi,
Thanks for looking at my post. I am really really in worst situation. Please help me.
Basically, my company having redundancy period and my job is one among redundancy. I am in Engineer department (in graduate scheme) and there is no more job in Engineering department. But operation department (Production) from same company offering me job. But my worrying is the job role title is Test Equipment engineer and that does not fall in shortage occupation list. So that means I need to take Resident labour market test and my company is willing to do that.
My question is , is it easy to clear the Resident labour market test? 
Second question is : Currently I am in company visa till 2019 (5yrs visa), if my company apply for resident labour market test is that means I still in the previous visa still I get result for the resident labour market test?
Third question: If resident labour market test fails, can I still be safe in same engineering department with previous visa till 2019?
