Dear All
I am in the process of completing my wife FLR M, but was unsure about the following questions.
My spouse is here on 2.5 year visa, 5 year route.
Any help would be appreciated
Q.2.2 Is this the first time you have applied for a visa or extension of stay in one of the above categories (including previous leave granted as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner) with your current sponsor?
I am applying for FLR M, would the answer to this be Yes, or No
Q2.3 Please indicate what stage of extension of leave you are applying for or why you are choosing to extend your current leave in one of the below categories.
1)First period of leave to remain (following an initial period of entry clearance as a partner of a settled person, or following an initial period of entry clearance as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner of a settled person - 6 months)
2) Second period of leave to remain (following initial grant of leave to remain).
Again as I am applying for FLR M, would the correct option be number 2 from the above
3.3 Nationality - please indicate if your sponsor has dual nationality or if they have ever held any other nationality or nationalities
I was born in Pakistan , but came to UK when I think I was around 3 or 4 years old. What should the answer be for this?
3.15 If your sponsor was not British from birth, when did your sponsor obtain settlement?
I am unsure at the precise date of when settlement was obtained as originally born in different country but came to UK when very young. should I put a best estimate?
3.16 On what basis did your sponsor obtain settlement in the UK?
As I came over here as a child, what basis would I have obtained settlement?
4.7 Please include any further information you think may be relevant to the consideration of this application.
Do we need to complete this section? If so what to add?
6.19 Where do you plan to live together in the UK (if different from the address given at Q1.14)?
We currently live with parents however we do have a house on rent, but unsure whether we will live at this address in the future. So should I just put current address.
Question 7.3. Ask about what category. Is category A where a person is employed with the same employer for more than 6 months and B is less the 6 months
7.8 Where do you and your sponsor plan to live in the UK?
Again as above, I have a home on rent but we live with parent and unsure whether this rental property will be the house we live in the future?
8.7 If you have any reasons or grounds for wishing to stay in the United Kingdom which you have not already mentioned in your application you should do so now in the box below
Do I need to add things here i.e. if so what precisely would i need add?
Section 11, asks for Photo of child. If child is British citizen and not part of application. Do we need to sent photo?
12.1.1 Which document are you providing? (please tick at least one box)
Do you tick all that you have i.e. passport and ID card or just one
12.2.1 Passport/Travel document/National identity card number:
Do you put both passport and ID card number or just one
In section 13 it asks items of correspondence addressed to you and your partner at the same address as evidence that you have been living together since your last grant of leave in this category, or from the date you first started living together up to a maximum of two years. See Note 9.
As we live with parent, we don’t have the joint utility bills and would struggle to have 6 individual as don’t have broadband, telephone bills etc. probably have 3 each and 1 joint bank account? Is this sufficient if put with covering letter explain this?
Other question
1) My employer only offer electronic pay slips, would I need to get a letter to say this is their policy and get them to sign and stamp to say authentic ?
2) As I own a house, but we don’t live in this. Would I need to put this on my application at all?
3) The rules ask for 6 months continuous payslips and bank statement. Is there a month leeway with this for example if I apply 1st Jan 2016, at this stage I will would not necessary have my bank statement for December as normally receive them through the post in Mid Jan?
