UKVI are a nightmare but I guess everybody realizes that. I am trying to get £1500 in NHS surcharges refunded that I was forced to pay to access the Premium appointments web site but on each occasion was told that there were no appointments.
email complaints have had unhelpful responses and a formal written complaint went unanswered. As much as I am annoyed at finally paying a fourth NHS surcharge through a solicitor to finally get an appointment it is the fact that I was unable to get an appointment to apply for my wife's FLR when it was quite clear that there were loads of appointments available.
Reading the complaint procedure at the Premium Centre it said to treat UKVI staff with respect. I am just wondering why UKVI are so disrespectful to the applicants and sponsors.
I finally put a complaint to the Parliamentary Ombudsman who refused to deal with the complaint as they feel that "UKVI have not had sufficient opportunity to investigate my complaint". It was UKVI who exhausted the complaint procedure and told me that if I was not satisfied (with there doing nothing) to complain to the Ombudsman.
How on earth do you get this morons to take notice. My MP is a complete waste of space in all of this.
