Visitor visa - sponsor letter date

Post by jay_ » Wed Jan 13, 2016 12:42 pm

Hi,

I have a question on a UK visitor visa application. Hopefully someone can help. Would really appreciate it.

Scenario:
Visitor visa application for my grandmother (outside EU)
I sent a sponsor letter dated 1 Sep 2015 with relevant evidence to my grandmother in September 2015 (6 month bank statements, 6 month payslips, land registry, letter from employer)
She was unable to apply for a visa at the time due to an illness.
She is now ready to travel to the UK.
I propose to keep the sponsor letter the same (i.e. dated 1 Sep 2015) and submit recent evidence (payslips and bank statements)
Would this is be ok? Or would I need a new sponsor letter?

Thanks
