How shall I proceed for ILR application?

Hiya im new to this forum so hope you'll bear with me .. im kinda confused regarding how toproceed for ILR application in my case ..the thing is my husband is a british national and im indian .we got married in August 2005 in India after which i got a spouse visa for UK issued on 15 NOV but came to UK on DEC 24 2005 to join my husband.

Now ,my spouse visa expires on Nov 15 2007 while my 2 year stay in UK completes on Dec 24 2007 .. in my case should i apply for visa extention or ILR ? .. can sombody please guide me.. im totally at a loss ..

You can normally apply for ILR 2 years less 28 days from date of entry. So if you entered the UK on Dec 24 2005, you can apply on Nov 26 2007. Since your visa expires before that, you'll need to first apply for an extension of your spouse visa, then apply for ILR on or after Nov 26.

Bear in mind that you don't have much time, so get your FLR application in order. Also, you'll need to pass the Life in the UK test for ILR.
