FLR(m) - empolyment question.

Post by azo » Tue Feb 16, 2016 1:30 pm

I really need some advice on this.

I have recently had my contract terminated without cause (I am under the 2 year period for employment rights) on Friday just gone with gardening leave (notice) until 12th March, which is 6 weeks before my wife's visa runs out, we had planned to submit an application around about the 15 April.

I would by this time have earn more than the £18,600 threshold for the last 12 months(have done so even at this date, and I have about 22K in savings) needed however I would be unemployed and my wife doesn't work either at the moment.

So I have a few questions about how this would affect the application.

Is it a waste of time and money applying only for it to be refused, i.e what are my chances?

If I do managed to get a new "ongoing" job before I apply, does it have to be above the threshold income limit and do I have to had been in it for 6 months?

Are there any other ways around this?

If there any free advise helplines I can phone for help on this matter.

Regards and thanks in advance.
