No email for application received at British high commission

Post by amit_sharma90 » Fri Feb 19, 2016 8:34 am

Hi,

I have submitted my dependents (wife and kid) visa application at Bangalore VFS on 17th Feb 2016 and opted for courier and SMS service.

Same day I received two sms stating that both the application has been forwarded to British high commission Chennai.

Next day I received only one email related to my wife visa application stating that your application has been received at the British high commission in Chennai and will be shortly considered by an entry clearance officer however I did not receive second similar email for my daughter application.

My wife told me that both the applications kept in one packet and handed over to the person siting in bio metric enrollment room after their bio metric.

I am afraid why the second email did not come assuming the packet had both the applications.

Do I need to worry? Is there a way to confirm whether they have received another application?

did anyone face the similar situation?
Please advice me on this.

Many thanks.

Regards,
Amit
