Applying Visit Visa for parents before Tier 1 visa expires

Hi,

I'm posting this behalf of my friend : He wants to bring his parents to UK on Visit Visa from India but his Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa expires in 3 months. Does any one had this kind of experience before ?
If he applies Visitor visa for his parents what are the chances ?
If someone else who are living in uk want to Invite them for Visit Visa will it gonna expectable ?
Please share your thoughts and experience my friend is really in big dilemma
