Tier 2 Extension Salary Sacrifice for Pension query

Hi all,

I have been on Tier 2 General since 2013 and I applied for Tier 2 Extension about 3 weeks ago. Still waiting on a decision.

Only now I have been told by my company's accountant that I can take a salary sacrifice to put money into my pension. So my question is:

If I was to take a salary sacrifice, does that mean I need to generate a new CoS and re-apply for VISA again?
Bearing in mind, even after my salary sacrifice my gross salary will stay above the min salary requirement for that SOC code.

The sacrifice amount will come out from your Gross Salary only I guess. The Gross will remain the same.

Amit., you are absolutely fine as long as your gross pay paid by your company not reduced( total pay per annum before any reductions) . you can join in pension and it wont effect your visa status / permit.
