Tier-2 General Dependent - URGENT

Post by anivijay » Tue Mar 15, 2016 7:19 am

Hi,
I have applied for Tier-2 General and processed only for my children as Tier-2 General Child. My husband is currently in UK under Tier-2 ICT.

UK embassy at Chennai rejected my children's application stating that I don't have sole responsibility and the father is in India. However, I have clearly stated in the application that the father is already in UK.

They have asked me for Administrative review. Kindly guide me to overcome this issue.

Another thing is, my kids earlier visa is valid unti 27th March. Can I bring them to UK in the old visa and apply for premium service for a new visa?

Thanks
Anitha

If you had included proof of the children's father's status in your children's applications, then they are mistaken and you should win your AR. If you had merely mentioned his status, then I would question why they didn't just verify it or get back to you if they had more concerns.

If they hadn't cancelled the children's extant leave, then they may travel before their leave expires.
