Help with tier 2 general visa - warning letter from custom

Post by maxperc0531 » Wed Mar 16, 2016 12:56 pm

Hi

I am a student holding tier 4 visa and study in UK.

I have just got a job offer from a company that would sponsor me but I have a worry for my application of the tier 2 visa.

When I entered UK last time in Gatwick airport I was stopped by a customer officer.

I was found something that I didn't that was restricted in my luggage. As a result, I was issued a warning letter. But no fines, penalties nor further problems.

I wonder should I disclose that on my tier 2 application as this is not a criminal conviction. But there is a requirement of disclosing civil penalties.

As said, I was just issued a warning letter for the seizure, no penalties, no fines, no need to go to court, but I am pretty worry on that. That almost make me mad.

I would me very grateful if anybody can share their experience or point of view, thanks.
