I have been in touch with a friend over there who's sister-in-law (for all intents and purposes) is an immigration lawyer and she's sending me some info. When I receive it I'll be happy to share with you.

From what I have seen the only outlay will be the visa process and immigrations experts aren't crucial but I will add any info I get to this stream when I hear from my Ontario friend.
