UK Ancestry Lost BRP

Post by melanie45 » Sat Jul 20, 2013 2:23 pm

Hi I am in a bit of predicament at the moment and hoping if anyone can assist.

My partner (UK Ancestry visa) lost his BRP whilst traveling for business 2 weeks ago, he since then has been let in using single entry visa and in the process to submit the replacement BRP.

I am on partner visa at the moment. Before this happened, I have booked a 3 weeks holiday away by myself to visit some family outside the UK so I am just wondering since my Partner lost his visa/BRP and his status is currently uncleared (applying for new BRP) will this cause me problem when I try to re-entry into the UK coming back from my holiday? Surely it will be in the system mentioning my Partner visa/BRP is cancelled and would that effect mine as well? I am due to leave in 3 weeks time and there's no way I could cancel it as I have spent so much money arranging everything not too mention my dad which I have not seen for 3 years is due for surgery within that time :( His carelessness has really saddened me, such simple mistake.

Thank you kindly for any replies.
