Detials required regarding post graduate qualification

Hi Seniors,
I would like to apply HSMP now. I have some basic doubts . Can you please clarify my doubts.

1. I did MBA from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, India as regular student. I would like to claim Master's Degree points. Is it necessary to submit verifible evidence from the UK professional body confirming the qualification's equivalence to a UK academic level.

If so , NARIC comparision has to submit ? or any other evidence.

2. To meet english language :

Is it OK to submit a letter from the university or to take IELTS test to meet new anticipated rules comingin first Q1, 2008.
What is band in IELTS requied to meet the criteria.
