I need help

Post by rosa » Thu Nov 15, 2007 10:05 pm

I have done a stupid mistake which I don't know why I have done!! and the shadow of this mistake is following me and killing me.
I was once caught shoplifting at m&s in london. The police were not involved, but the manager took my name, DOB and my adress and gave me a trespass notice.
That was 1 month ago.
I'm on HSMP dependent visa and my husband's review will be in October 2008, will that mistake affect the renewal?

A trespass notice is meaningless in UK law unless issued by a local authority. What you have been given is the equivalent of a parking ticket issued by a private firm.

Forget it, move on, you have done nothing to jeopardise your stay in the UK. We all talk to up sometimes, but this is not a biggie. If the police were not involved then you never have to disclose this.

Now that Victoria has said it doesnt impact the current implication. Perhaps you will consider what caused you to do such behaviour??

By the sounds of it, this lady has been beating herself up about it for weeks, and I think it is right that we don't make things worse. I am sure she has been thinking about it, and will continue to do so.

Rosa, please don't worry any more.

That's right Victoria. I hate myself for this, I passed through the worst days ever. And I truely don't know why I did it... I'm a good person.
But sometimes bad things seems fine somehow!!
And the worst of all, the WORST of all that I am pregnant now, and I believe this stress is affecting my baby. And the last thing I need now is to have someone blaming me..
I'm glad that good people are always there whenever you need them.
Thanx Victoria, you reassured me.
