Does time spent on student visa count towards PR?

Post by saikou999 » Tue Apr 12, 2016 1:17 am

I first came here as a student on 25/July/2013, got married and officially obtained BPR in Dec 2014. I know that Indefinite Leave to Remain requires marriage visa holders to have at least lived in the country for 5 years.

My question is will I be able to apply ILR in 2018 subsequently naturalisation or I will have to wait till 2020 and then naturalisation?

I've tried to google it but the info about this varies quite a lot ... So please help me with this.

Thank you very much and any help is much appreciated.
