Is it ok to withdraw appeal 1 day before hearing date?

Hello Guys

Please let me know if its ok or not to withdraw appeal 1 day before hearing date?

appeal hearing date is on Wednesday 4th may 2016. Can we send withdrawal request on the 3rd?

if not then by when do we need to send this in order to be safe.
