Consultant on an assignment without sponsorship - which visa

Hi all,

I am Thai, holding a Thai passport, living in Germany. Currently, I am employed by a German consultancy, with a German work permit and residency tied to the job. The company needs to send me to London for a few months on a consultancy assignment, per project based. My salary will still continue to be paid by my German employer, as well as all expenses, living costs, and transportation while I am in London. The thing is, I am unsure which visa type I need, as any of the Work-related visa requires a certificate of sponsorship from the company, but the client company will not sponsor me, as they are contracting the company I am employed at, not individuals (me).

Please advice how I should go about proceeding the visa application.

Clearly your employer should sort this out. That's what mine does.
