URGENT Confuse with the visa duration. Please Help!!!!

Dear all,

Today I have received my Visit Family Visa. I`m a little confuse here after I got the visa. I've been granted multi entry, On the visa there is a (Valid from 02/05/16) and (Valid until 02/11/16) the visa duration is 180 days.

My question is when is this 180 days take effect? was it start counting from the day I arrive in the UK where the date show on the entry stamp by the immigration officer at the airport or is the 180 days start from the date show in the Visa (Valid from 02/05/16)?

Valid from date but remember the visa has 180 day VALIDITY, it does not necessarily follow you can stay for 180 days....
