Tier 2 SOC & Minimum appropriate salary rates

Hi All,

I have a question regarding to SOC and an appropriate salary. My job code is 2127 and minimum requirement for experienced worker is £30,000.

I have an annual permanent contract. I used to work 40 hours/ week and earned £30,150 (which met the minimum requirement),
However my contract has been changed, I now work 36 hours/ week and earn £29,000 (which lower than the minimum requirement).

I would like to know the minimum salary mentioned in the SOC document based on how many working hours? and will UK immigration will pro-rate my salary since my working hours has been reduced too, not only the salary? I basically earn about the rate per hour, only the working hours has been reduced and made my gross annual salary fall below the minimum requirement.

For SOC code 2127 the salary threshold of £30,00 relates to a 39 hour week. The threshold can be pro-rated if the working hours are different.

An annual salary of £30,150 for 40 hours/week doesn't reach the £30,000 threshold but £29,000 for 36 hours/week does.
