2 companies for extension

I have been a director of the company A from May 2013 and have created 2 full time jobs in that company.
I am the director of one more company B which was formed in Dec 2015 in which I would like to invest 50k before my extension.
  • Does it matter if the investment is done months before the extension.
  • Does it matter if two separate companies are used to claim points for investment and Job creation respectively.
