DoB missing on Naturalisation Certficate

DoB missing on Naturalisation Certficate

Query on behalf of a friend.

A friends wife is due her state pension - but the date the Pension service has as her dob is wrong. Her dob is correct on her passport and medical records.

The Naturalisation certificate is from sometime in 1960's but its official and stamped but only has her year of birth. She does not have a birth certificate.

What is the best way for them to proceed and confirm dob? Make a request to the HO for data that they have on her? Or send in her passport and NHS records?

She is a british citizen been in the uk since the 1960's.
