Marriage in Portugal (American)

Hello!

I have been in a constant state of struggle when it comes to my visa here in Portugal.
My Portuguese fiance & I are getting married. Currently I am here without a Visa but with a work contract, a NIF (Número de Identificação Fiscal), and filing my IRS here. I work on green receipts & pay social security monthly. We have a shared bank account & shared apartment that we rent. We have lived together for 1.5 years.

I have previously applied for work visas which were canceled without any notification so I have to start from scratch. The SEF (Immigration center) only has appointments for next year. Shocker!

Can anyone give me some advice on what to do?
Should I re-apply for my work visa or just continue with our marriage plans regardless of the visa?
