requesting documents back from the UK Home Office

Post by shaw1234 » Thu May 12, 2016 2:10 pm

I was wondering whether or not anyone had requested their documents back from the UK Home Office early, before the UK RC had been approved? (not cancelling the application; just a request for documents. Did it have an impact on the approval time? Or worse still, result in the application being withdrawn?
Also, has anyone travelled outside the EU, with their certificate of application, whilst an application was pending? Any problems, experiences etc.. would be gratefully received. Many thanks

Many members have done this; just search in forum (use advanced search feature);

A COA is not a travel document (nor a visa). It doesn't make sense to travel on a COA.
If you leave UK & want to get back in before you have a RC then suggest apply for a FP.
