Question about Settlement through 5 Years Tier-2 General Vis

Post by pm2017 » Fri May 13, 2016 9:34 am

I will complete my 5 years in UK under Tier-2 General Visa in February 2017. My present job is a contract position and is up to April 2017.
One of the criteria to settle down is that my employer will still need me. So, if I apply in February and my contract is shown up to April, is it going to create any issue?

Is your employer able to extend the contract ? if so they will be able to give you a letter confirming this , which you need to submit with the ILR application.
