Start date on COS too early!!! Need Help!!

Hello Respected Gurus..

I'm stuck in a situation where my employer has applier for restricted tier 2 general COS through SMS few days back, but they have mentioned the start date as 11th June'16. Now I don't see them getting the COS assigned before 11th June 2016. Now if I get COS on after 11th and apply for visa then My COS would have the job start date which is already gone past. Is this going to be a concern..?

The CoS start date can be ammended through SMS. Also remember, the CoS has to be used within 3 months of issue. I don't think this should be too much of an issue.

Thanks for the advice. I'll see the HR on Monday and ask for changing the date.
But just out of curiosity, I wanted to know if the start date on COS is already gone past then will they reject the visa application or is this Okay. Thanks a lot.

Mine is a similar situation, on my CoS work Date starts is 1 June,2016 which is very close and I dont think the visa process and winding up from UAE will be possible that quick. Will I face issues in getting my visa? Awaiting expert guidance!
