Error in BRP with premium serivce

Hello,

I received my BRP with my last name misspelled - a single "L" instead of double. I originally paid for premium processing because I cannot be without my passport as I travel frequently (weekly) for work.

Applying to correct the mistake online, the email response directs me to send in documents for an expected 10 working day return.

Does anyone know if there is there an expedited process that does not require another £700 fee?

Have you tried calling the PEO to lodge a complaint and demand a correction?
It may work (assuming application form etc were all correct in first place).

I'm so sorry, but what is "PEO" and how do I contact them? I've so far been unable to find any useful contact numbers!

Hi,

I dont think there is any fast track service. Just to call to your notice that its 10 workings days after they acknowledge that they have your documents.

I also have a similar problem and I sent it in and it got to them on monday but up till this moment they havent acknowledged receipt of my documents. I am just hoping it doesnt take too long cos I also have to travel in early june.
