Hi all,
Can an army soldier who is 24 years old be the referee for naturalization?

Yes, the list states - Officer of the armed services (active or retired) is an adequate referee for naturalisation purposes

Hi imnewhere, he is just a soldier not officer and he is 24. the list does state Member of Her Majesty’s
Armed Forces can be a referee but just wanted to double check. :)

I would have thought a soldier would fall under thesame category - i am thinking the term officer is being used here as an umbrella term for everyone in the military. Perhaps you could wait for a commentary from one of the moderators or senior members.
