Hi guys, I'm new here.
So I'm asking this question on behalf of my friend. He is a PRC national, resident in the UK. He has ILR and has held this status for at least 3 to 4 years. He wants to help his parents to apply for a short term UK visit visa. They are PRC nationals resident in China.
The problem is that the area of China they live is one which is known for it's export of undocumented migrants. I'm talking about Fujian. My friend is afraid that his parents might not be issued with a visit visa unless their application is absolutely water-tight.
I'm assuming the home office's major concern is, will the applicants return home at the end of their visit? In this case, they will. But I'm guessing we need to demonstrate this at the time of visa application, am I right? If so, how best should we do this?
Never having applied for this type of thing before, I would be grateful if anyone could kindly advise on the best course of action. We wish to have the right information before we apply, so that we apply one time and it's approved, not many times and pay also many times. Thank you!
