Tier 2 General Extension Salary rates

Post by rajarapu87 » Fri May 20, 2016 9:19 am

Hello there.

Myself Raj, I've been on Tier 2 General since Jan 2014. I'm due for extension in Jan 2017. When I entered into Tier 2 in Jan 2014, the new entrant salary rate was £23,400. Now the salary rate for an experienced level is £30,400.

My question is do I need to have a salary of £30,400 or more in order to extend my Tier 2 Visa? or can I have a considerable increase but less than £30,400? I have been working with the same company in the same role. None of my conditions have changed.

Your valuable advise is much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.

Regards

the current codes are always in the current Appendix J to the immigration rules:
