English Test for Spouse Visa

Hi,
To fulfill English language requirement for spouse visa , is IELTS academics with band 7.5 overall would be enough or do you still need to do IELTS life skills A1?

I'm not sure whether you can use an academic test for a visa. Was this done through an approved test centre?

I think the reason that these test should be done via these centres because they are secure and you can't cheat because they take your photo on the day.

Yes the test was held at approved English test center.
I dont understand why you cant use academic IELTS test to prove your English skill. Comparatively Academic IELTS is more difficult than IELTS A1.
