FLRO EXTENTION 10 YEARS ROUTE REQUIREMENTS

Hi
Can you please help me. I wanted to know that me, my wife and 3 children (1 child of them British citizen) will be applying for extension for further leave to remain. We have granted Leave to remain in December 2015 for 30 months on family route (Human rights)

My question is, What criteria/things needs to be done beforehand to qualify for my application? so I can start gathering things from now on?

What are the requirements to meet the criteria?
