Email from HomeOffice for interview

Hi,

One of my friend received an email from @HomeOffice.gsi.gov.uk asking him to turn up for an appointment. He applied for FLR (FP) about 10 months ago.

What should he expect in this appointment?

The email says it's a new customer service initiative

haven't heard from anyone yet? I take it that this is something completely new to everyone?

Letter also says "Regards CLS6"

when is the interview. i and my husband it too for flr fp even though i am british and my husband is the applicant.
