EEA child now adult applying for British Citizenship

Hello there, I have a question for British citizenship. I was under 18 when I moved from EEA country to UK with my family. I have lived in the country for more than 10 years and now I am 25. I also do have a residence card for more than 9 years. Can I apply for British citizenship under a special case? Or what are my options?

There is no special case unless you are married to a British citizen. You will first need to apply for a document certifying permanent residence as this is now a prerequisite requirement for citizenship.

Assuming your absences are within limits and you meet the knowledge of language/life and good character requirements, you can then apply for citizenship.

If you intend to apply for citizenship as soon as you receive your Document Certifying Permanent Residence, make sure that you base your PR application on a 5-year period of treaty rights which ended at least one year ago.
