Employee holiday salary

Employee holiday salary

Dera forum members,
My accountant has informed me that my company should pay 12% of total salary as a holiday pay to my employees. Is it necessary in a contract job? Will Home Office look into it?

You are legally required to give your employees at least 5.6 weeks of paid holiday per year. Most employers usually pay their employees on annual basis and give them 28 days of paid holiday without any monthly pay deduction.
