Tier 5 - breach of contract

Post by llastica » Fri May 27, 2016 7:42 pm

Good evening,
I was hoping to find some answers regarding an issue with one of my employees who we have sponsored Tier 5 visa. She has been working with us for over 1.5 years now an her second tier 5 visa and she is in breach of her contract.

She has taken data from the database in her linkedin account and is refusing to delete such data claiming is hers. She had no contact with our industry prior to working with us hence none, have daily invited these people in her private linkedin account from our database.

The contract she has signed clearly points out that no data or any information should be taken without the managements permission. Previous colleagues who used their linkedin for work, have deleted such data prior to leaving.

I was hoping for some guidance as we are planning to report it to home office and to police but not sure what is the accurate route to follow in such case.

regards

This appears to be a civil matter and a disciplinary matter that HR could/should handle.
It's unclear how the police authorities would be interested to get involved. Are you alleging a theft has occurred?

What is the connection you make with HO?
Are you wishing to terminate the visa?

What type of Tier 5 visa - "youth mobility"? (Used to be called working holiday visa).

Or religious worker, or creative and sporting?
