EEA PR (evidence)

Post by jjstjjst » Sun May 29, 2016 2:49 pm

Hey guys again,

I am filling out the EEA PR, and there it seems to be a bit confusing in the section 2?

Should I fill this section?

Thanks in advance.

Your previous question was about EFM FM so why shooting for confirmation of PR ?! (which is what EEA PR is for).

And kindly decide on one thread and use that for all your questions.

EEA PR on section 2, page 20 is asking about the sponsor which is the person applying for the PR (EEA National)

Should this person fill this section?

If you have a sponsor then yes, the section needs to be completed.

Hi,

I am an EEA-national willing to apply for an EEA PR for both myself as a Qualified Person and my family (spouse and child).

I suppose I am the main applicant, however I find it confusing when in Section 2 a Sponsor is required.

My question is as follows:

What is the difference in this case between the Sponsor and the Applicant? Who is one and who is the other? Or are both the same?

Many thanks

:!: :!: :!:

So now we hve vasalvati chipping in and the OP confusing the issue by now asking for a completely 3rd party (but not saying so upfront).

OP, suggest your friend registers and asks their own question - outside of your thread,

vsalvati, kindly open your own thread with own question if its going to run and run,

Otherwise noone is going to know who is talking to who and which question is being answered.

All, fwiw my understanding is...

If main applicant is EEA then they do not have a sponsor.
Skip section 2.

It is non-EEA nationals who have a sponsor when they alone are applying (and EEA sponsor is not applying, on same form, for anything).
In that case fill in sponsor details in section 2.

So the EEA main applicant need to fill in section 2(sponsor) with their own details?

No.
If main applicant is EEA then they do not have a sponsor.
Skip section 2.
From section 2 of form:
Complete this section with details of your sponsor if, during the relevant qualifying period, you have mainly had a right of residence as a family member or extended family member
Takeaway: You don't need section 2 as you will have filled in section 1 ie as the EEA applicant!
