Marriage Certificate in Kashmir Required?

Hi Guys,

Quick question, for a spouse visa application im submitting my original nikkah-nama which is transalated in english. My wedding was held in Kashmir- Kotli to be precise.

I have been reading this forum and alot of users are stating we require a nadra marriage certificate attested by the union council and FCO.

Please can some shed some light on this, do we need the above?

P.S my friend got married who is also from kashmir, she did not submit any nadra certificate but has received her visa.

Its better to submit as many evidences as possible considering how strict they are and looking excuses to refuse it. Every case judge differently . Who attested the english translation of original Urdu nikka nama?

In my case submitted original urdu nikkah nama with attested English translation. I got the marriage registration certificate from Nadra and had stamps of ministry of foreign affairs on all these documents.
