I am a Zimbabwean refugee who applied for his indefinite stay at the end of November last year, so its been just over the 6 months time allocated for processing.
I received a letter from the UKBA at the end of March stating that my application will take a bit longer now as they are 'waiting for a response from another government department or agency to verify some of the information or documents you have given us'
The new date they give for making a decision is late August this year.
is this just the usual UKBA delay as I have no issues, criminal records or anything at all that I can see that would have possibly delayed issuing or is it anything to do with a potential Brexit or other political issues or legislation that they want to implement. I have completed the biometrics etc and would have hoped that the 6 months would have been enough time for them to check whatever they would have needed?
