Dependant Problem with the visa

Post by murillobraga » Mon Jun 06, 2016 2:05 pm

Hello guys,

I've recently applied for the TIER2 visa from my home country (Brazil) along with my dependant and got both visas.

On the application, they ask us on which date each one is willing to arrive in the UK and, as far as I know, this will be reflected on the 'Valid from' and 'Valid to' dates that will be written on the visa.

In my case (main applicant), I've put as intended start date the 23rd of May, hence my visa came with the following dates: 'Valid from': 23/05/16 and 'Valid to': 23/06/16.

In my wife's case, I've put as intended start date the 23rd of June, hence her visa WOULD have to come with the following dates: 'Valid from': 23/06/16 and 'Valid to': 27/06/16, but it DIDN'T. It shows the same dates as my visa.

I've tried to contact through the international help website (https://ukvi-international.faq-help.com/), I've got a response a few days later saying my case was escalated to the 'British High Comission' and they would contact me soon , but since then (it's been 17 days), no one have contacted me.

I'm very concerned because the tickets prices are increasing a lot and also we are afraid of she having some problem with the immigration officer (because they might have our application date on their records).

I'm alrdeady in the UK but my wife is still in Brazil.

What should I do? Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!
