Hi All,
I need some advise in making an application for my mother in law visit visa for UK. Just to give you a background, her visa was rejected twice in 2012 in which the first refusal stated that she was unable to satisfy the financial commitments/funds because she was (is) a house wife dependent on Husband and Son and that she will return to Pakistan at the end of her visit. Then rather going for appeal and to get the decision quickly we applied again but unfortunately, we didn't satisfy the concerns of the case worker and the objections was based no evidence provided for the Husband (e.g. earnings bank statement etc.) and that she will not return back to Pakistan at the end of her stay. Also in both the refusal letter the case worker was satisfied with my sponsor ship letter and that I can accommodate her and bare her expenses in the UK. Also I was on Tier 2 visa at that time
Now in 2016, We are applying again for he visitors visa, in the application form I do have mentioned her past refusal do I need to submit a covering letter give the reasoning of the refusals in 2012??
also in the form there is just one question as follows
What is your current working status?
and the options that could be applicable are
- Supported by Spouse/partner/other
- Unemployed.
In reality she is supported by her Husband and Son but, I can show bank account details, job letter etc, for Son but there are no documents for Husband e.g no bank accounts, no documents for a rented shop etc.
Should we mentioned her dependency in detail in the covering letter or just simply go with this option and attach the documents of SON??
