Do I stand a chance as Parent of Child FLR -FP

Post by tiwatee » Thu Jun 09, 2016 6:16 pm

Hello everyone.
I want to find out if I can apply as parent of child (flr fp) 10 year route.I have a 2 year old son with a polish national..We were never married but lived together for a year and half before we separated. Our separation was due to domestic violence incidence.I have police reports for these..I and my son were destitite and got offered temporary accpmodation by the local acuthority following the domestic violence incidence...Howver over the past one year my ex has been sober and apologised for his actions and have been playing role in our sons life..He pays child support and sees the boy twice a week but not without my supervision. He and my son have very good bond.my son has polish passport.I am.nigeria..We cant apply for derivative eea card as my son is not self sufficient

As per the requirement as parent of a child in uk I am aware that the child in question have to be british or settled person or have lived up to 7 years here..My sons only 2 and hes not british so am worried i might get refusal on this basis...Thanks in advance for all contributions

Your bet is derivative residence card.

If the father is ffinancially supporting and you have medical insurance, I belive you best option will be Chen , derivative Residence Card.
