Tier-2 General Continuity Period Query

Post by Rockey2016 » Fri Jun 10, 2016 3:16 pm

Hi,
I have a query regarding my continuous 5 year period in UK. I am in UK since Jan 2010 but on Tier-2 general visa since 24th July 2012.

Following is my visa history,

10-Jan-2010 to 30-Oct-2010 (Tier-2 ICT visa by X company), then I changed company after going back to India.

Y company sent me in UK on 14-Feb-2011 to 07-May-2011 on a business visa.
Then Y company filed by Tier-2 General visa and it got stamped on 26th June 2011.
I again travelled to UK on 24-July-2011 (this was my first arrival on that Tier-2 General visa).
I stayed in UK, 24-July-2011 to 26-Dec-2011 and then went back for my wedding in India. [96 days, but I was working for the same company, same client but my salary was getting paid in Rupees (Indian currency)]

I came back to UK again on 1-April-2012 and since then I am here, regularly going to India on annual leave but never exceeded 25 days.

In this journey, I changed my sponsors twice, once in Feb-2015 and then May-2015
Due to client side shutdown in recent Dec'15, I had to take 8 days leave without pay but rest all were my earned leaves. (I went to India for 24 days and these 8 days leave was part of that).

My query is, when exactly I will be completing my 5 years period? I have gone through the online documents/help and I think I am completing 5 years period on 24th July 2014, could you please confirm that my understanding is right?

so can I apply in first week of July'2016?

Many Many Thanks.
