OCI as a Spouse of OCI holder

Post by harv » Fri Jun 10, 2016 5:06 pm

Hi All

I have always received very valuable feedback from this board. I am in a situation right now and need some help:

My Wife: OCI holder (British Naturalised)
Married for 4 Years

Myself: British - Naturalised
Previously: Afghan

Situation: My family Sought Asylum when we came to the UK and I was Minor(16) at the time. I do not have a Birth Certificate from my birth country either.

I filled in the OCI application for myself as a Spouse of an OCI holder. There was a section in the form asking if I have ever Sought Asylum. I selected 'No' thinking as I did not sought Asylum but my parents did at the time I was minor.

I am just wondering if my application holds any chance of success at all, as I do not have my birth certificate either (never had it).

Thanks in advance...
