FLR M Extension - partner or private route?

Post by har-549 » Wed Jun 15, 2016 5:04 pm

Need to apply for an extension to my spouse visa FLR M - however we will not meet the 18600 financial requirement.

We have a one year old child born in the UK.

Do we apply for an extension under "FLR FP partner route" 10 year or "private life" 10 year??

Thanks

FLR(FP) where F (stand for family life as a partner or parent) AND P (stand for private life)

so to answer your question apply for an FLR(FP) on the basis of family life as a partner

Are you receiving any eligible allowances?

Thanks for the reply

I am self employed and have savings that can show "adequate maintenance" so can we apply on the family life as a parent 5 year route??

Or is that option only open to divorced/seperated applicants with children??

Then spouse is not eligible under the 5-year route, unless you/spouse can satisfy the £18,600 financial requirements.

Unfortunately, the parent route is for separated/divorced parents (E-LTRPT.2.3 or E-LTRPT.2.4).
