ILR dependent previous visa situation

I am new to this forum and thank you for giving me chance to giving me opportunity to ask my question. i have been granted ILR on 1st april 2016. prior to that i was on tier 4 student visa and my spouse still hold tier 4 dependent visa until end of november. Although my college told me they will withdraw me from the course as i was not regular since i received my ILR. i have started working full time to meet financial requirements in order to meet 18600. My question is - is my dependent previous tier 4 visa still be valid until end of her visa period which is november 2016? we do not intend to travel until the visa is sorted. i aim to apply for her beginning of november. Hope to hear from the experts soon. Thanks.

Believe it's still valid to remain, unless curtailed, etc.

God forbid if thats get even curtailed will home office notify us by letter? and give us how long time to apply visa? i have uptodate my address details with Home office.
