Spouse Visa - Not Currently Living Together

Post by z0nk » Thu Jun 16, 2016 5:57 pm

Hi all,

I am applying for the Spouse Visa (moving from Tier 2 General).

I have already got married with my partner in the UK and we are having a second big wedding in Thailand later this year (4 months away).

Me and my partner don't currently live together but we intend to live together in my partner's parent's house (which meets the space requirement for 4 people) after our marriage in Thailand, due to Thai cultural traditions that says a couple should live together only after their Thai marriage.

If I explain this reason for not currently living together in my application would it be alright? would it get rejected if we are not already living together?
what evidence can I give to prove that we intend to live together?

Thanks,

Its not compulsory to live together before marriage for visa-related purposes.
