Query on rejected visa processing

Post by Suja Kannan » Fri Nov 30, 2007 5:50 pm

Hi,

I am working in UK with a work permit for few months from India (Chennai) and would like to arrange a trip for my family members.

They've applied tourist visa and no issues with my mom and dad's visa processing. But my sister has just completed her college and is doing a training course. Since she doesn't have a job... and she is s graduate they have rejected her visa. :cry:

Could you please help me as to how to re apply for this? Would it be worth a try?? Its only a trip for 2 weeks and we are requesting for a tourist visa!

Could you please let me know what are the details that we should provide and who would be the best person to approach? [/b]

It would be helpful to know the reasons given for the refusal. I believe that you have three choices.

1. Request that the ECO (entry clearance officer) or ECM (entry clearance manager) reconsider her application;

2. re apply;

3. appeal;

You should provide details to refute the issues raised in her refusal notice. For example, see also Visa denials as the same principles may be applied.
