UK Spouse visa

Post by ranbirkapoor » Fri Jun 17, 2016 5:05 pm

Hi,

I have just got married in india and want to apply for my wifes visa to England. I have been working for this company for 12 months. I was hired by agency and was working in this company on temporary contract. However before I have got married 1 month ago I have got given contract by this company and I am no longer part of agency. I was being paid by weekly and by agency before I got contract. My wages started from £8 per for first 6 months and than £10 hour after 6 months. If I add my last 6 months of wage slips it makes up to £9600. I am now being paid by y company on monthly basic and my salary is £18800 a year. Could I still apply for visa with 5 months of weekly paid wage slips and 1 month salaried pay slip. Only problem is if I add my last 12 months wage slips than it only comes to £17000. Does this matter or last 6 months of wage slips will do.

Dont make things complicated . You need to be in salaried or non salaried employment for at least 6 months with same employer if you want to apply under category A

For category B : You must be in job where you will be earning at least £18,600 per year and could be with employer for less than 6 months but last 12 months income with new or previous job should make at least £18,600

I assume you have no saving and dont rely on any others source that can be combined with salried or non salaried

Hello,
My brother would like to know what he can do.

He is married to a British citizen who brought him over to uk as her husband since 5 years ago on spouse visa, but since his coming to uk 5 years ago he has suffered all sorts of abuse/bully from his wife because she knew that his visa to stay in the uk is solely dependent on her. Several times my brother have been thrown out of the house, then my brother would play the fool and they will reconcile again just to make her happy, and for the fact that they have 2 kids togeda he tried so hard to make his family work but the harassment and abuse form his wife would not stop. Once the visa on his passport was torn out from the passport by the wife, once she has called the home office to get his visa canceled and revoked, then they reconciled again. Once he has made him over stayed his spouse visa without wanting him to apply for indefinite leave, they ended up applying for spouse visa extension which was granted after much appeal because it was refuse at first because of the ups and downs in their relationship so home five suspected them and call them for interviews and he was later granted the visa extension....the bullying, abuse and harassment pls continues, so my brother has had enough and decided to quite the relationship for fear of his life and his what the abuse and harassment can do to his health...so they are separated now, but his wife says she will call the home office and cancel his visa extension granted to him again so he can be illegal in the uk. They have two kids together .
What can my brother do to remain in the uk and have access to family life with his two kids? Because he does not want to be illegal here as he is very sure his wife would make do her threat...as she has done in the past

You have tagged this onto another member's thread which is unfair to the member and confusing. Please post this in your own thread.

Hi,

Thanks for your prompt reply ILR1980. My question is I have been in same company for 12 months however I was being paid by weekly wage for first 11 months and now I am being paid every monthly. My last 6 months wages adds to £9600 however last 12 months total is only £17000. Could I still apply with last 6 months off payslips which includes 5 months of weekly paid wage slips and 1 month of salaried pay slip. Thanks
