Switching to tier 2 dependent from tier 1 entrepreneur

Can someone give your thoughts on what immigration rules will apply if one leaves UK at the end of tier 1 entrepreneur visa and applies for entry clearance as tier 2 gen dependent visa. If investment while on tier 1 ent was done only partially, would this be an issue?

First of all applying from outside is not called switching, that is applying for entry clearance.
Your new immigration application will not be affected by your failure to invest in your time as Tier 1E migran, unless you have broken some immigration rules while in the uk.
